Brie
Adina Neff
Brie Adina Neff is Director and Senior Certified Instructor at
Equilibrium Pilates. She stumbled upon Pilates 13 years
ago at Temple University where she earned a BFA in Dance. After
a severe neck injury destroyed her career in dance, she sought out
Pilates teaching certification through master teacher Romana
Kryzanowska and daughter Sari Mejia Santo where
she began extensive private instruction. Upon completion of her
teaching certificate, she intensified her training with Romana following
her to New York, Brazil, Texas, and Paris (summer of 2005!). Brie
has taught Pilates all over Philadelphia as well as New York, New
Jersey, and as guest instructor in Boston, MA and Rome, Italy as
well as assisting her teachers in Brazil, Florida, and Texas. Seeing
the need for quality Pilates instruction in Center City, Philadelphia,
she opened Equilibrium Pilates in April of 2002. She
continues to study privately with Romana and Sari in her quest to
provide the purest and most effective form of Pilates available.
In 2004 she received the tremendous honor of being hand picked from
hundreds of candidates world-wide to become Level 3 representative
and teacher trainer for Romana's
Pilates®. Brie also works as faculty at University of the
Arts where she runs the Pilates program within the Dance Department.
She was recently appointed to the prestigious position of Senior
Lecturer. Brie recently won Philadelphia Magazine's "2005
Best of Philly" award in the "Best Personal Pilates"
category.
